One Last Time

I walk away in fear
Knowing my heart is broken
I used to hold you dear
I meant every word spoken
But I didn't know that now
With all this time that passed
Why or when or how
Your love wasn't meant to last
I should have took a look
At what to me you'd cost
A lifetime of misery
Once you were lost
Now I walk away
Dreaming of one more day
Knowing that you can't stay
Not looking to tomorrow
But instead to yesterday
Feel my sorrow
