Fears and Tears
A 9-11 Tribute

What has changed since that year,
I do not know, I do not fear,
Two years have passed and love survived,
Two years have passed and no one died.The towers burned,
And the people learned,
Two years passed, but we did survive,
Two years have passed; I’m still alive.America lives with its flag intact,
And still we wait to be attacked,
For that next day filled with fear,
Two years have passed; dried no one’s tears.
