Worthless

I pretend everything is fine,
Like a story or some old fairytale or play,
Then I let my guard down for an instant,
And world gos and starts to get to me,
I'm not the person you knew before,
Start to wish I was an angel so I could escape this place,
This place thats filled with mistrust and deceit,
Broken hearts and shattered lives,
Strangled souls adrift in a sea of negativity,
Twisted people waste away our hopes and dreams,
Tell us were worthless and pityful,
Make us wish we were able to just disappear,
But you can't,
You scream and nobody hears it,
Comtemplate suicide,
It wouldnt change anything,
The same things would happen,
So go back to pretending,
Go back to thinking its all just fine,
Tell everyone your good as could be,
One day youll realise your wrong,
You'll end up just like me.
