To Whom It May Concern
~By Tanya L. Robertson
To whom it may concern Last night was my night of
sorrow.
I felt so alone.
I weeped for so long.
I tried as I might to fight the tears that streamed
down my face.
In those last few moments I was scared.
I thought of things that I should not have thought.
I thought I wanted to end it there, but then I realized
my best friend was there.
No, it wasn't a class mate from school.
It wasn't a friend from my childhood, nor was it a
friend from work.
To whom it may concern
The friend that helped healed my wounds was my mother,
who is so dear to me.
She is my true best friend.
She helps me when I'm down
She listens no matter what's on my mind.
She is my sunshine that gets me through the day.
She is my Best friend for Life.
