Dreams of Paradise

I am surrounded by
all types of devices,
except the own I
need the most, I
do not own.
I hear the laughter,
smiles and cries of
joy and happiness.
I shall give up all
that I own in hope
that happiness shall
find me once more.
In a world of pain,
I hear a calm word,
feel a soft touch,
and see a warm smile
in my thoughts and dreams.
I love to hear you voice,
of reassurance, and strength,
and dream about your arms
around me, with strength,
stability, and comfort.
I dream of your kiss,
soft yet gentle.
For you bring to
a place of paradise
in were love has no bounds,
were no pain can be felt, seen, or heard.
For this is what
I dream in hopes
that one day it may
come true.
