I sit among the crew
watching with admiration
for each on of them
enjoys what they do.We sail through the stars
enjoying the peace,
comfort, and mystery.I watch the world
through open eyes
and hope in some way
I can make it better.I fix the cuts, bruises,
do the surgeries and heal
all illness, which are
thrown my way.I honor the rules
set forth by command,
and always obey my oath
“To do no harm.”I am a doctor
and friend
to one and all
