My Pain

How many hardships till I find salvation.
How many hell's must I go through to find my peace.
How many times must I sell my soul, all to make you happy.
I have transformed my existence to be to your liking,
yet still you want something else.
You say this is what you want,
but the universe tells me different.
All I want is my life without sacrificing yours.
I ache for peace,
I ache for passion,
I ache for your love.
