Creation Unsurpassed
~By Melody Lee-Carte
As I walk this countryside
From my heart there's sense of pride
White lovely trees like flowers stand
Embraced by snow, as if God's plan
There's a scent of fresh chopped pine
From a cottage where light does shine
It is burning in a fire place
From the chimney smoke is traced
And from this dark grey colored sky
Soft fluffy flakes seem to fly
Landing on this Mother Earth
Sent to give the world new birth
In a distance there is a stream
Clad in snow that looks like cream
A mountain abides in satin white
I stand amazed at this blest sight
A little chill is in the air
I pause to say a simple prayer
Thanking God for this splendid show
Now off for home, I must go.
