Satan's pacing across the floor,
Demons are waiting at the door.
"What shall we do, Master?" the demons wail.
"Just be still," he says, "There's no way our plan can
fail."
Suddenly, a beam of light flashes into the room,
An angel steps forth and announces,
"Satan, you're doomed.
God has sent me to warn you tonight,
That he's going to end your short-lived reign of
fright."
Satan throws back his head and laughs,
"Perhaps that is true, but time still remains.
And during that time, I'm still in the game.
I'll destroy homes
And families too,
I'll lead people astray,
And turn them against you
I'll take innocent victims
And leave their families to deal with the strife.
And I'll take every husband and turn him against his
wife.
No one will be able to hide from my evil hand,
In any town, city, or foreign land"
At this, a single tear falls down the angel's
face,
For he is mourning the poor souls who will go to
Satan's place.
"A few souls, you may gain,
But in the end, you will be slain.
Your evil ways will be revealed,
And forever you'll be concealed,
In a place where you can do no harm."
The demons look at each in alarm,
For they know that the angel is right,
And God will win this fight of all fights.
But Satan stays calm against all the odds,
His eyes gleam with malice directed toward God.
"In this war, I know quite well,
That God is hurt by every soul I send to Hell.
And even though your message rings true,
Tonight is the night that I attack all your people
And turn them against you.
For tonight is the night of All Hallows Eve,
And I've got quite a few tricks stored up my
sleeve.
My witches and goblins are out on the prowl,
The werewolves and banshees terrify all with their
howl.
And no one is safe on this monstrous night,
As long as they dabble in witchcraft and stray from the
Light."
And with this, Satan's face breaks out in a grin,
He raises his hand and exclaims,
"Let the festivities begin!"
