Don't Wanna Grow Up

I don't wanna grow up, Daddy.
When you're old, you have to be brave.
You have to kill monsters, scare them away,
It's your little daughter you have to save.I don't wanna grow up, Mummy.
When you're old, there's nowhere to go.
I'm always safe when I sit in your lap,
I trust this you already know?I don't wanna grow up, Daddy.
You scare away the monsters, you see.
But when I get older, when I grow up,
The person to get rid of them is me.I don't wanna grow up, Mummy.
I'm too young to go face the world.
I don't wanna worry about all the problems,
I just wanna be a 6 year old girl.But it's too late now, guys.
I've seen all the scary things to see.
And now I know I have only one monster,
The thing I fear most now, is me.
