"Things That Go 'Bump' In The Night"

Everyone knows what goes 'bump' in the night.
Its them pesky bats, half in flight
Right straight into the side of your house
Flappity-flap-flap, SMACK! BANG! gross...
Course lying in bed in the darkness of night
You start to think of other things in flight
Demons, monsters, fairies and smegs
Or simply the kids next door wasting eggs
Whichever direction your mind does take
Guaranteed, late at night, that bang will make
Your imagination swivel, toil and swear
Think evil things of what's out there
Alas your brain takes on a demonic flair
And determines to produce one hell of a nightmare
