Memories!

~By Kathryn Janeway-Riker

We are the children, laughing and screaming having a wonderful time.

With days gone by, and the first cries heard, what proud parents are we.

Holding each other in our arms remembering days gone by.

We are weary of what is going to happen, but we look for peace within us.

We see the children changing before us, What a wonderful sight this is.

The grass is green and the sun is shining, and the flowers are blooming nicely.

The love of family means allot, with the grace of god.

But the deeper we think of the beauty around us, the closer to god we are.

Once we were two, and now are as one, we are each others lovers.

Now our parents say, we were once little devils, but we sure grew out of that.

Now often we sit, and just think and think, how grateful we are just to be alive.
