"Your Star

I know all about history
but it doesn't mean as much to me
as you do
I pick a star
and give it your name
and it's just for me
and it never fades away
In the world we call reality
I'd rather have you here
in my fantasy
but I wish you knew
how I really felt
when I see your face
with that sparkle in your eye
I realize
you are the only one for me
but if you say no
then I'll just go away
but I will never
let your star
die
