Fullfilment

~By Zahra

Inside,
Turbulence, cacophony,
A thousand thoughts seek audience.
Emotions churn like nausea,
The bile of the mind burns.

With prickling realisation, the mind writhes,
Determined to expel the invasion.
Search for a centre, a selfish identity,
A single moment of absolute self.
Solidarity.

Distrust sifts perceptions, leaving them to scatter unheeded,
Reality becomes distorted.
Still another beckons,
A bond fearing no distance.
A half to match a half.

As lovers, thoughts intertwine,
Boundaries melt, submergence,
Fearful yet craving,
Helpless yet ravenous,
Devouring.

Souls collide, restraint shatters,
Possession, unification, crucifixion.
Soldered destiny emerges,
Fervor overwhelms,
Fulfillment.
