Lament

I walk the road of life alone
I have no place to call my home
I have no one to ease my pain
Sometimes I think my lifes in vain
Every day I curse the fate
That decided I should have no mate
I only wish that I could find
Someone who could sooth my troubled mind
But while I wander lost and alone
My heart must remain as a stone
