If falling apart was what it took to find your feet,
And if crying was the only way,
To tell someone how you feel.
If hurting was the solution,
To everyone’s pain.
And if dying was the way,
To alleviate the blame
Well then I guess I’m pretty thankful,
That I don’t live in that place.
Where Starfleet never existed,
And I’m another race.
Where Vulcans laugh,
And holograms scream.
Where money is all you have.
And love is just a dream.
Well then I guess I’m pretty thankful
For everything I know.
‘Cos without I would be lost,
And not know where to go.
So thank you.
