Friendship

There was a day...a long time ago
When I was hidden within myself
With this wall around me I shut out the world
Then a friend, who at first I did not know
Came along
And he made my world a better place
For just being there for me
And I vowed that day
That if even one time
If I was able to help him
As he helped me
And that was all
Then my life would have finally had meaning
And I was happyHappier than I had ever been before
