The Bay
~By Peter Finnigan
As the night died
And the sun rose
The light bounced
Upon the waves
The clouds moved slowly
Making all sorts of shapes
A fish a man and then
By the trick of my eye your face
I sat there content
With the warmth I got
>From the radiator and the
View of the bay
As the sunrise filled the sky
It filled my heart with hope
A hope I had lost
The hope that we could
Be united and linked
Like the sunrise and the sunset.
