I've believed in you since the first day of Sunday School
Cried to you when things didn't go my way
Prayed to you so my grandpa could hear me too
But your Father knows I'm all in vain
And I don't thank You when things are good
I believe in you
But sometimes I wish
You could me when I cry
Tell me everything will be all right
Let me see the love in your eyes
Jesus, sometimes I wish you were here with me
I've never doubted your existence
But sometimes I feel so alone
That's when you fill me
A moment you truly put your love around me
You reached down but selfishly that's not enough
I don't pretend to understand your power
You know your reasons why
But in times like this I wish sometimes wish
I could you when you cry
Tell you everything was all right
Let me show you all the love we have for you inside
