My Wish

Once in a while
I long to see
A big pink dragon
Stare back at me
I'd say "How do you do?"
And talk of the weather
As we'd float in the sky
Light as a feather
We'd come back to earth
Then she'd go away
To come back again
Some odd, rainy day
But here I must stay
In the world of man
Left alone to dream
And scheme and plan
To find some new way
To leave this world behind
And find my pink dragon
And make her world mine
