Chances and Consequences

If given the chance
To take back a mistake,
Would you risk it all
And have that chance be yours to take?.To fix a mistake
O but which to choose,
How is one supposed to decide
What to gain and what to lose?.Some may find it hard
And not really know what to do,
But I know that my choice would be
To try and regain my love that was true..I’d bring back my sweet love
The one who was taken far away from me,
Then once more I could hold her in my arms
And just drink in the moment’s ecstasy..A tender kiss from her lips
Would drive away my heart’s pain,
While a loving gaze would be enough
To let my mind come back to sane..Is this request too much
Am I really to be denied such joy,
Who’s cruel idea is this
Have I become nothing more than fate’s toy?.I guess it doesn’t matter
Nor does my fragile heart,
Now please take leave from me
Lest you wish to see me crumble and fall apart..
