Wooden Bridge

I have been here many years
and have seen numerous sight
from winter's beautiful landscapes
to summer's glorious delights
I've seen the change of seasons
as Autumn's leaves turn gold
to lovely blossoms on the trees
they are such a sight to behold
Animals prancing through the woods
they come to drink from the stream
as hikers tread all over me
they're trying to fulfill their dreams
Mother Nature is awesome
and down through these years
the amazing stories I could tell
each in my heart I hold dear
I am aging swiftly now
as time has taken it's toll
but I have many a season left
for several more to stroll
