And Then She Was Gone

She heard the river calling,
Calling her back home,
Back to happier times,
Back to a place she once called home.The water seems to call her,
Call her a name,
A name she once heard,
But never heard again.She slipped into the blackness,
The abyss she called home,
And then one morning,
We found that she was gone.We mourned the loss of such a person,
But did we really know,
Why she had to kill herself,
And why did she have to die........
