Mt. Washington

Yesterday Will took me to Mt. Washington.
I wanted to tell him how I feel about him,
But first he had to tell me something.
We walked through the soft snow.
I could see myself reflected in his eyes.
We shivered as he told me he still hasn't gotten over his girlfriend
And that he's lucky he has a best friend to talk to.
I said to Will he should tell his girlfriend how he feels.
We looked out at the vast mountains one last time and
Then headed back to the van.
