So many stories could be told
today they are naught but a memory,
all this dragons, fierce and bold
Beautiful big, glazing eyes
shimmering golden scales
huge wings that cover the skys
Ancient and wise beyond life,
claws much harder as best steel
fangs as long and sharp as a knife.
Fire comes often with their breath.
mystical, immortal creatures
but surely not immune to death.
As the air fills their wings
life fills their hearts,
and their soul sings.
I think I tend
to pray and hope
they return in The End.
