My Dragon, My Friend

The Lady stands on the cliff
Staring out to the sea
Tears roll down her lovely face
Wondering where he could be

Her Knight in shining armour
Has left for the doomed quest
Knowing that so many others
Could not pass this test

She feels that little snuggle
From her friend of all times
The sweet and loving dragon
Known as Zoramine

Tell me oh mistress
Why is it that you cry?
This is his destiny
We can not question why

Zoramine has always stood beside her,
Gave advice that was true
Her steadfast friend and dragon
All their life long through

Don't you know he will be safe
No harm will come to him
This is his fate
It is not just a whim

As the young sweet Lady looks on
Knows the truth is at hand
Her friend, her dragon
Is there to help her understand

There in all her beauty
With wonderous hues of blue
Her friend her dragon
Gives hopes to pursue

The dragon is the wisest
The loyalist of all
Will always stand beside you
And never let you fall

A totally spiritual being
Brave and noble to the end
Is an honor to have them
To call a dragon your friend
