Masterful Plan

Our forefathers concurred
this new nation was in need
of a list of principles that
would keep all it's people free
So they all got together
with only one thing in mind
they put the pen to paper
the Preamble they refined
They had no idea the impact
these 48 words would make
the beginning of this great nation
they did it for freedom's sake
Liberty "freedom of choice"
the foundation of our land
our forefathers had wisdom
to fulfill what they had planned
So they secure the blessing
of liberty for this nation
from seventeen seventy six
to all future generations
