"Captain-" Spock began, then suddenly stopped.
"Yes, Spock?" Kirk looked Spock's way.
"Spock, you look really awful mate,
"As if you haven't slept for hundreds of days!"
"He hasn't," muttered a voice near the door.
(Enter Doctor Bones McCoy to the scene)
Both Kirk and Spock turned to look.
Spock a greener shade of green.
"Bones? Spock? Dammit, what's wrong?"
Kirk's face saying that he's confused.
Bones hummed and hawed, and looked at the roof.
Spock looked at the books well used.
"Oh, fine, don't tell me. What would I care?"
Spock turned. "Captain, I can't think.
"Not a scrap, a single thought."
Kirk muttered "I need a stiff drink."
"Bones? Treatment?" "None, Jim, none at all."
Spock gazed blankly at some American art.
Bones leaned closer to Kirk and whispered, with an evil grin
"I much prefer Spock when he's got a brain fart."
