Cold,
Cold as winter,
Shivering silently,
Breathing slowly,
The aches of eternity flowing through your body,
Your face numb,
Eyes closed tight,
You travel to a place of warmth and delight,
Your frosty fingers and freezing face,
Melt away with all due haste,
In a few moments it will all be gone,
Guardian angels watch over your life,
Long lost friends and future wives,
Until the day the ice subsides.
