Don't You See

~ Amanda Sielu Paris

We had our storms
It could have been more blue skies
But I never saw the end of the sun
Never saw the cliff I fell off

Just as I had my mind set
I was part of something special
Use to not being alone
I belonged to you
You belonged to me
How do I fight feelings I never fought before

I thought what we had would last
If not forever then a long run
You had to let her get between us
She won when I wasn't even fighting

Don't you see my heart is breaking in two
Can't you see letting go isn't easy for me
I can't forget when you were mine
Don't you see I can't froget as easily as you

What had become a part of me was ripped out
Now how can you expect me to smile back
Can't you see I haven't let go
Don't you see I'm still in love with you
