The Love That Can't Be Bought

~By Picard017

Oh my love,
I long to feel your precious touch,
Trembling inside of me,
I care so much.
How often I recite your every thought,
To enrich my life,
That special feeling that can't be bought.

I know that you have not a clue,
Of my feelings for you,
I often go to tell,
But I push myself away.
Away from my inner soul,
Longing to tell,
But I can't find the spell.

I watch in mystical awe of your every being,
So simple, perfect,
It brings harmony.
In that harmony the angels do sing,
A melody so treacherous to follow,
Tempting in everyway.

Oh as I sit and watch,
It saddens me deeply that your love could never be bought.
For you soul which I have always sought,
Has been taken from me,
Simply, sweet, so eloquently.
I know it was never meant to be.
