Lonely Tonight

Maybe I will not be lonely in my dreams,
Maybe you will be there,
To comfort and guide me through the night,
To send me some smiles,
To steer me into my love’s sight.Maybe I will not be lonely in my dreams,
For you are there with me,
With your hand outstretched beckoning me,
With a smile upon your face,
With a lamp to let us see.Maybe I will not be lonely in my dreams,
If you will let me love your light,
I can’t bear the thought of waking without you,
I won’t live without your smile,
I will lose my way in the night without you.
