The Presence Of Your Absence

There is a hole in my mainstream
That eats away at what little normality I have managed to maintain
It has beautiful blue eyes
That glow in the dark
It has radiant skin
And a smile that could light a thousand skies
It has the brilliance of Kings
And the courage of Lightening
It flows as brilliantly as the sea
And as passionately as the night’s sky
The presence of your absence
Rattles me like no force I’ve battled
And hurts me
Like no drug I’ve tried
