Liar

~By KittyKat

You're looking for the truth,
but the truth won't find you,
A world built on lies,
Just comes crumbling down,
You're trying to have some faith,
But faith don't want you,
Alone again in the end.

You're searching for the light,
But darkness always haunts you,
A mere glimpse of honesty,
In your very tangled web,
You're holding on to hope,
But hope slips through you,
It tears you apart in the end.

You're calling for a friend,
But your friends have all left you,
You couldn't see the forest,
For all of those trees,
Now you're reaching out for love,
But love has forsaken you,
You made your own bed in the end.
