Longing

My longing for you
Is like a fire so bright
That is so very hot
And gives off so much light
I long to see you
To kiss your sweet lips
To hold you so close
And feel the sway of your hips
You’re the first person that
I’ve ever longed for this much
That I’ve wanted to be with
That I’ve loved this much
I long for your love
I love your sweet voice
I long for all of you
I couldn’t make another choice
Another choice about
Those feelings I’ve said
To make those any less
I’d have to be dead
I think you already knew
How I felt about you
And that my feelings are true
And there’s nothing that could change that
My longing for you
Will never go away
Even though we will
See each other someday
