Freedom

~By Allison Lynne Bolton

In the early months of 2003
The coalition headed overseas
The British and the United States
Took on a country with big debate
To protect the people from any harm
To take away power and disarm
12 years have passed for Saddam Hussein
No peace in this land is a sad shame
His people deserve peace in their land
Freedom for all is where we stand
Our men in arms hold their heads high
Our pilots protect them from the sky
The sacrifice of life is clear
The mission ahead they will not fear
A nation united for what is right
To live in fear not one more night
The threat of evil we will not take
We'll keep on fighting whatever stake
Freedom of life is what we deserve
As the coalition heads out to serve
