The Night Maiden

~By Spacecadet

The Night Maiden came.
Her hands are cold as ice,
Her face white as snow,
Her features carved in stone.
To him, she is a Goddess,
Beautiful, yet inaccessible.
To the rest of them there assembled,
She bears an air of impending doom,
The Mark of the Damned.
She has felled Giants.
She has opened doors kept locked for Aeons.
She has broken hearts with a rare smile,
And ends worlds with a laugh.
