Have You Ever?

Have you ever thought something's missing
From your life
And then remembered,
What it is ?
Have you ever looked into the mirror
And asked,
Why am I still here ?
Have you ever heard a song play
And thought of the memories
It brings back ?
Have you ever looked at a photograph
And asked,
Why were they taken ?
Have you ever felt so alone
That silence deafens you ?
Have you ever felt so sick from grief
That you felt you could cry forever ?
I felt all these things when you went away,
Away into a silent land
I wait for the day when I don't think or
Feel these things no more
I wait for the day when I'll see you again
And say,
I've missed you
