Dethklok is a band in an animated television show called “Metalocalypse”. Just because the band’s popularity is based largely on a cartoon, doesn’t make this death metal album any less brutal. The lyrical value of some of the tracks are down-right hilarious, from songs written about (and for) fish, to the Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle it is death metal with a punch line. Admittedly it takes most people a short while to even understand what the lead vocalist is saying, as is such with most death metal. In addition to killer lyrics and vocals the lead guitar riffs are unmatched by any other metal band out there right now. If you like the music and you’ve never seen the show “Metalocalypse” It is highly recommend as well.
