Rachael Lampa lets out her fun new CD in 2002 called Blur. With raps and funky phat loops this young pop diva brings a new twist to old favorites. Some songs remain the same lyrically, but some are changed around a bit. Free [Holla Back Mix] starts out the fun. The same meaning is brought to the front; bit splashed in the middle of the song is a rap which brings the meaningful lyrics deeper.
In the next song, Savior Song [Sonic Overload Mix] this CD takes this originally upbeat fun song to a whole new level, which continues over in to Brand New Life [Sunny Day Mix]. In Day of Freedom [Mirage Remix] Rachael reminds us of her 3.5 octave range, and her skill at holding a note longer than most people can.
This CD continues to make the listener want to dance as it stretches across remixes of I'm All Yours [Giraffro Phat Funk Mix],
For Your Love [Gravity Moon Mix],
Live for You [Marbella Mad Motion Mix],
Lead Me (I'll Follow) [Elevation Remix] and,
A Song for You [London Daydream Mix].
As the CD closed with Blessed [Epiphonic Remix] we wish the CD were not over so soon. Of all the remix CD’s that came out in 2002, this one must be rated among the best.
