Nicole C. Mullen was the Dove awards 2002 Female Vocalist of the year, with her new album ‘Talk About It’. A Singer, dancer, chorographer and songwriter, Mullen has taken the Christian Music world by storm. Talk About It is Mullen’s second CD, with songs such as, “Call on Jesus”, “Talk About It” and “Some Times” Mullen climbed the charts almost over night.

Talk About It starts off with a hand-clapping-foot-stomping routine called “All Aboard”, which leads right in to the title track, “Talk About It”. With a heavy bass beat and a pop sound, this song raised to the top of the charts quickly, encouraging listeners to talk about what they believe

To remind young women that they are worth God’s love “Baby Girl”. Even though they go through hard times and it seems that nothing can go right they are precious in Gods eyes. Next in line is “Call on Jesus”, which was the first single to be played on the radio. This song brought hope to all those who listened to it. “When I call on Jesus, All Things Are Possible! I Can Mount On Wings Like Eagles and Soar.” The beautiful music will carry you away.

“27” and “Let me Go” are two hip-happening songs right smack dab in the middle of the album, then comes “Witness”. “Witness” has a little of every thing. With a pop section and a jumping rap section this song is sure to get your feet tapping.

The album takes a slow moment here for “Come Unto Me”, but once again Mullen jumps her album in to high gear with “The Ring” which reminds listeners that true love never fails, and that it is worth saving your self for marriage. “Sometimes” makes you want to dance as you try to keep up with the dizzying yet fun lyrics that talk about the ups and downs of life, yet through it all God is the same.

After “Sometimes” the Album takes a permanent quiet down as the last 3 songs lull you away in their melodies and encouraging lyrics. Over the entire Album “Talk About It” is Mullen’s best album. It is only her second but she continues to amaze her fans with her true to life lyrics and heartfelt songs.
