Plain White T's

Genre: Type: Punk/Rock/Pop

Plain White T's started off in 1997 when Tom Higgenson (Vocals/Guitar) and Ken Fletcher (Bass) decided to ask friend Dave Tirio (Guitar) to play drums for them in a power-pop group. Tom had written several songs and the band later adopted them to their style. Two years later, Steve Mast came aboard with his experience in guitar and vocals and they eventually released their first album, Come On Over which sold over three thousand copies.

Stop, their next album, made it's debut in November of 2001. Three additional songs were added as a bonus to the 12 song album, one from their previous CD Come On Over called Cinderella Story and the others Bruises, and Let's Pretend. The CD also marked the end of touring for Steve Mast and Ken Fletcher with the T's. Afterwards, Mike Retondo (Bass/Vocals, current), De'Mar Hamilton (Drums), and Tim Lopez (Lead Guitar/Vocals) made their debut with the band.

All That We Needed debut in 2005, and brought much more fandom around the United States. Touring with bands like Jimmy Eat World, Sum41 and Gimme Gimme's. Their popularity grew further than just the midwest.

It wasn't untill they released Hey There Delilah that the PWT's made Billboard's hits, and the band became popular across the globe. They re-released the song in their next ablum titled Every Second Counts which debued in late 2007, and brought with it two more hit singles Our Time Now, and Hate (I Really Don't Like You. The CD went on to sell well over one million copies around the globe and also marked their first tour outside the United States.

After touring that year, the T's went back into the studio to record their next album Big Bad World. The album released September of 2009 brought with it, three singles Natural Disaster, Sunlight, and one of the top hits, 1,2,3,4. With such great hits, and another album in the works, we'll see how far this band will go.
