Aleka: Okay, first things first, what's your handle?

Lzrman: Lzrman

Aleka: And your clearance level?

Lzrman: Clearance Level 4

Aleka: How long have you been a member of OTF?

Lzrman: Since October 2000

Aleka: Do you belong to any departments?

Lzrman: Currently, I do not belong in any departments, not saying I'm not looking for work.

Aleka: Well, with the basic questions out of the way, how long have you been involved in your art?

Lzrman: Well? I had a very limited understanding of it through highschool, and it progressed through interest.

Aleka: What got you started in that?

Lzrman: To tell you the truth, I just found it kind of kewl at how people designed things and I decided why not try and see if I could do it for myself.

Aleka: What are some of your favorite works of art created by others?

Lzrman: I don't really have any favorites created by others.

Aleka: What are some of your own favorite works that you've done? Can we see pictures?

Lzrman: Sure, I have to many favorites to name them all but a few of them I have uploaded to http://www3.telus.net/lzrman/digital_photos.shtml. This is where I place online, all my favorite shots of all time. I have yet to upload some new media as I have been busy working on other important tasks, but in the near future I will be changing and adding a variety of shots i've taken in the past.

Aleka: A few days ago I was privilaged to get a virtual tour of your place where I saw quite a bit of your work framed, it's obvious that you take lots of pride in your work but you don't look like a starving artist to me. How do you support yourself and your work?

Lzrman: The pleasure was all mine, I thought that if others saw a glimpse into my life through the art that I have framed then they may get a better understanding of how I precieve art. I support myself through others, I get their opinions on various photographs and I appreciate there comments as they are always pleasing.

Aleka: One of the things that I love about your photography is your attention to color. Always bright, vivid, brings good visual focus, have you ever considered shooting in black and white?

Lzrman: Speaking of black and white! I took a few pictures if some elderly people and they turned out just beautiful, this during a friends 70th.

Aleka: I've heard rumours, but is it true that you one created a halloween pumpkin that resembled the outpost?

Lzrman: Ya your rumours, speculation and innuendo are correct. This took some raw talent that is part computer based and part real thing. Instructions on how to accomplish a duplicate for your halloween pumpkin are at the url listed. http://www3.telus.net/lzrman/outpost10f/halloween.shtml.

Aleka: I've also heard that you had the first ever OTF themed birthday cake, any truth to that rumour? Is there a picture to prove it?

Lzrman: Ya, I was outpost addicted during those times and anything I could put the logo on, had to have it. Thus I recieved the rank, Most likely to have OTF Tatoo'd on his arse *L* See url below for screen shot of me titled with that rank. http://www3.telus.net/lzrman/outpost10f/profiles/tattooed.jpg http://www3.telus.net/lzrman/outpost10f/cake2.jpg.

Aleka: How would you describe the art you create?

Lzrman: Vivid, Creative and Spontanious.

Aleka: Is there one person that you could say has inspired you?

Lzrman: Well, I try to be like other people with more advanced graphical talent, I sortof aspire to be someone with the knowledge of Lindax, or even Rubicon. They have awesome graphical skill combined with the web aspect to accomplish a nice finished product. On the photography side, I currently have no one to inspire me. Inspiration comes from the heart, and thats how the pictures will turn out.

Aleka: What was your first reaction when I asked you if I could interview you? Were you surprised, shocked, happy?

Lzrman: Oh my god, I was like? What is artists doing emailing a person like me? I had to agree, just cause. I need some employeement *l* just kidding.

Aleka: What do you drool over when you first walk into a craft shop?

Lzrman: I don't go to craft shops, unless moms buying something, even then I don't see the point of going unless I need something like more frames. I got like 6 on the wall and 5 empty ones sitting in my room somewhere.

Aleka: You do lots of different types of art, photography, graphic images, do you have a favorite?

Lzrman: Personally I like Digital Photography over graphical imagery. There are times where the two will switch positions but then, I find they work hand in hand.

Aleka: So, last but not least, what, is art to you?

Lzrman: Art is an innovational talent, where there is borderless possibilities to create a sharp visual focus that can change the way we look at life. Though different contrasts and colors make a picture a picture, the angle at which you precieve it

Aleka: Thank you so much for allowing me to interview you, keep up the goodwork, and please compete in more Artists Guild Competitions.

Lzrman: Aleka, your welcome.
