Lupus: Ok, hi. I'm Lupus CL6, but I think you already know that. And I know that you are Da'Moon right? CL?
Da'Moon: CL 4
Lupus: Yeah yeah, sure I knew that. Just testing, you know. Needed to know if you knew. So, how long have you been at the outpost?
Da'Moon: Since June 05, not sure of the exact date.
Lupus: Not that long then. You have moved up the ranks pretty quick!
what’s your secret?
Da'Moon: I just try to be friendly and pleasent..most of the time And I enjoy it.
Lupus: Great advice to all those looking for a promotion. So is the Artists guild your first department and team?
Da'Moon: No, my first was admin, I am on the welcoming committee
Lupus: And are you still with this team?
Da'Moon: Yep, I'm trying to handle them both, so far, so good.
Lupus: Multitasking! not as easy as it sounds. Believe me.
Da'Moon: I know, I am terrible at it *lol*
Lupus: Ok, is there and department or team that you really want to work for/in?
Da'Moon: Hmmm, I like entertainment, but I've never had the chance to apply...maybe I'll join the ISA, no, all kidding aside, I am happy where I am
Lupus: And which room do you like chatting in the most?
Da'Moon: I really don't have a preference, I have fun in all of them
Lupus: Oooo, we have an all rounder here. Interesting. If you could add another genre room, what would it be?
Da'Moon: Wow. I never thought about it, maybe something to do with...wow this is hard. I like comedy, really oddball comedy, so maybe that.
Lupus: Comedy….. I wonder what Iain and Maxell would say…. and the Artists guild, how are you finding that?
Da'Moon: I really like it, I wasn't much into art, I mean I have a few artists that I like, but I thought I would give it a go.
Lupus: Not into art?!?!?! oh dear. So, come one then, name a few names. Whose art are you into?
Da'Moon: Well I really like the artist I did the bio on Jack Vettriano, his 'The Singing Butler' has always been a favourite of mine, then there is Van Gogh, and Rembrandt, most of their works I like.
Lupus: Jack Vettriano... ah yes. I visited the Portland Gallery to write an exhibition review. It was really good.
Da'Moon: I would have loved to seen the gallery. Is your review out?
Lupus: No, it’s going to be published in the June edition of the Tribune.
How are you finding the work load at the AG?
Da'Moon: Fine, not a whole lot, it is doable
Lupus: Do you enjoy it?
Da'Moon: Well, so far, I've only done the Jack Vettriano bio, my next bit of work will be to interview Malum. So, I guess you can say that I like it.
Lupus: And how does your work compare with that of the welcoming committee?
Da'Moon: With the welcoming committee, I just send out welcome emails, nothing too hard. Writing for the AG requires a bit more effort, don't get me wrong, I love the challenge, plus I learn a few things along the way.
Lupus: Did you do art at school?
Da'Moon: No, not at all, I can't even draw a stick figure , when my friends get together to play pictionary, no one wants to be on my team, I am that bad *lol*
Lupus: You can’t be?!?! Modern Art... yes or no?
Da'Moon: Yes, most of it looks good to me.
Lupus: But do you think it is Art?
Da'Moon: Some of it, yes, but when there is just some garbage put together, then no.
Lupus: What would be your preferred media in art if you were going to create something?
Da'Moon: Oh, my, I'm not that creative, but I would like to sculpt something if I could.
Lupus: Yes, but there are many mediums you could use to sculpt...anything in particular?
Da'Moon: I really have no idea what I would do. Clay, that would work nicely.
Lupus: Have you ever seen a piece of art work that has affected you deeply?
Da'Moon: Let me think about that one, like I said I love Vettriano's work, and his one piece, Dance me till the End of Time, gives me chills, it's rather romantic.
Lupus: And how do you feel about Vettriano's other work?
Da'Moon: Some of it, looks a little disturbing, but I think that’s what attracts me to it...but I'm not saying I'm disturbed.
Lupus: No, don’t worry. I don’t think you’re disturbed. I like his work too, well, most of it. Well, that’s it from me, and that’s that from Da’Moon.
Thank you very much for sitting there under those bright lights Da’Moon. We will analyse the results from the polygraph. You may now go back to your cell… ummm, I mean office.
